The role:
In today's highly competitive and dynamic business environment, the role of the head of account manager has become crucial for the success and growth of any organization. This position serves as the primary point of contact between the company and its customers, playing a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience and ensuring customer satisfaction.
As part of the Sales Department, you overview our portfolio of e-commerce and retail merchants and resellers from various European countries and industries.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Conduct regular client meetings to review account performance and address any issues or concerns.
Develop and implement account management strategies to drive growth and achieve business objectives.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure client satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze account performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Prepare and present regular reports on account activity, performance, and profitability to senior management.
Identify and address any issues or risks that could impact account performance.
- Customer Retention and Satisfaction:
Implement strategies to improve customer retention and satisfaction.
Handle escalations and resolve complex client issues in a timely and effective manner.
Gather and act on client feedback to continuously improve the account management process.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients.
Work with the business development team to acquire new clients and expand the client base.
Develop proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.
Oversee the budgeting and financial performance of the account management department.
Ensure that all accounts are profitable and that revenue targets are achieved.
Manage pricing strategies and contract negotiations to maximize profitability.
- Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., product development, customer service) to ensure a seamless client experience.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align on goals and expectations.
Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the account management function.
